About the role

The Collections Clerk position within the District Attorney's Office is responsible for managing and resolving payment issues for various clients.

Responsibilities

  • Make collection calls and/or send letters to customers
  • Handle customer inquiries and complaints via phone and email
  • Process and approve/reject payments
  • Manage and organize client files
  • Negotiate payment plans with clients
  • Prepare and present Restitution Agreements
  • Follow up with clients to ensure timely payment
  • Perform light administrative duties such as filing and scanning documents

Requirements

  • Self-motivated and detail-oriented
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and work under pressure
  • Dependable and reliable
  • Basic knowledge of office technology (Teams, Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel)

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent

Pay

$30,000 to $32,000 annually

Schedule
