About the role
The Collections Clerk position within the District Attorney's Office is responsible for managing and resolving payment issues for various clients.
Responsibilities
- Make collection calls and/or send letters to customers
- Handle customer inquiries and complaints via phone and email
- Process and approve/reject payments
- Manage and organize client files
- Negotiate payment plans with clients
- Prepare and present Restitution Agreements
- Follow up with clients to ensure timely payment
- Perform light administrative duties such as filing and scanning documents
Requirements
- Self-motivated and detail-oriented
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks and work under pressure
- Dependable and reliable
- Basic knowledge of office technology (Teams, Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel)

- High school diploma or equivalent

Schedule
Monday - Friday, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm
