Job Description and Duties

The Analyst I performs analytical duties such as filing Liens, Levies, and Judgments with the California Superior Courts, referring delinquent cases to the Employment Development Department (EDD), Labor Standards and Enforcement (DLSE), and the Contractor's State License Board (CSLB). In addition, regularly contact the public regarding delinquent debts for the Department of Industrial Relations (DIR) Collection Unit. The Analyst I is responsible for the collection of delinquent Accounts Receivable (A/R) for CalOSHA, Pressure Vessel (PV), Elevators (EV), Amusement Ride and Tramway (ART), and Labor Commissioner’s Office (LCO) Wage Claim Adjudication (WCA), and Non-sufficient Funds (NSF) accounts.

Working Conditions

This position is located at: 455 Golden Gate Avenue, 10th Floor, San Francisco, CA 94102. The incumbent works 40 hours per week in an office setting, with artificial light and temperature control. The duties of this position are performed indoors. The employee's workstation is equipped with standard or ergonomic office equipment, as appropriate. Telework is available as approved by the department; travel may be required.

Special Requirements

A STATEMENT OF QUALIFICATIONS (SOQ) IS REQUIRED. The SOQ must be in 12 point Arial font, have 1" margins, be limited to no more than two (2) single-sided pages, and be in narrative form (no bullet points). Only complete applications that include an SOQ will be reviewed, and only the most qualified candidates will be interviewed. Candidates will also be evaluated on how clearly and concisely their qualifications were presented throughout the SOQ (including grammar and punctuation).
