Collection Specialist

About the role

As a Collection Specialist, you will maintain customer relationships by renewing agreements, resolving issues, and facilitating prompt payments. You will spend most of your day on the phone or computer, making calls regarding expired agreements, scheduling voluntary turn-ins, and assisting with references. Fieldwork includes picking up products and distributing door hangers. Your role is essential in enhancing customer relationships and contributing to our continued success.

Schedule

• Monday–Friday: 8:30 AM–6:30 PM
• Saturday: 8:30 AM–3:30 PM
• One weekday off per week
• Sundays off

Responsibilities

• Make phone calls to customers regarding expired agreements and references
• Assist in resolving issues to facilitate renewal and prompt payment
• Schedule voluntary turn-ins of merchandise
• Perform fieldwork, including product pickups and door hangers
• Multitask effectively in a fast-paced, people-driven environment
• Meet weekly goals while maintaining excellent customer service

Requirements

• Experience as a rental agent, account executive, account manager, or in account collection/rent-to-own
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving history
• Ability to pass a drug screen and background check
• Professional communication skills in English (bilingual is a plus)
• Strong computer and phone skills
• Ability to work a flexible schedule

Pay

$16.00–$20.68 per hour, including bonuses.
