Collection Specialist

About the role

You’ll work in the office Monday–Friday, 8:30 am–6:30 pm and Saturday 8:30 am–3:30 pm, with one weekday off each week and Sundays off. Each day you’ll maintain customer relationships by phone and computer: reviewing applications, renewing agreements, contacting customers about expired accounts, resolving issues, scheduling voluntary turn-ins, and occasionally going into the field to pick up product or leave door hangers. Your patience, tact, and multitasking keep the pace positive while you meet weekly goals.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and renew customer agreements
• Make outbound calls regarding expired agreements and references
• Actively listen and resolve issues to facilitate renewals and prompt payments
• Schedule voluntary turn-ins of merchandise
• Perform field visits to pick up product and distribute door hangers
• Multitask effectively in a fast-paced, people-driven environment

Requirements

• Experience as a rental agent, account executive, account manager, account collector, or rent-to-own
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving history
• Pass a drug screen and background check
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including Saturdays
• Professional communication skills in English (bilingual is a plus)
• Strong computer and phone skills

Pay

$16.00–$20.68 per hour, plus bonuses.
