About the role
Coldwell Banker Branch Vice Presidents build the foundation of the Coldwell Banker network, the nation’s No. 1 residential real estate brokerage for 21 years.
Responsibilities
- Lead and run Coldwell Banker’s local brokerage offices in the North Shore: Glenbrook, Evanston, Lake Forest, Glencoe, and Highland Park.
- Responsible for recruiting and developing the real estate agents of the future, managing Assistant Branch Vice Presidents, and driving revenue.
- Manage branch operations, hiring, developing, and rewarding top talent; establishing and supervising office expenses and budgets; handling profit and loss to achieve annual profitability targets.
- Ensure associates have the tools they need and are trained to use them, endorsing and encouraging preferred services like mortgage, title, and home warranty.
- Actively participate in and lead local events, establishing a network of contacts to further grow the business.
- Establish a culture of growth among associates by living the Coldwell Banker Value Proposition – Production Power, Culture of Awesomeness, Wealth Building, and Coaching to Confidence.
- Partner with other managers and teams to increase market share, grow business metrics, and expand brand recognition.
- Demonstrate integrity to ensure a strong reputation in the community and meet legal and compliance requirements for local transactions.
Qualifications
- Proven brokerage management success, including recruiting, training, and encouraging incredible teams; ideally, 3+ years of leadership experience within residential real estate is preferred.
- Experience in all aspects of residential real estate transactions with 3-5 years of sales experience; knowledge of real estate laws, contracts, and procedures; hold an active local real estate or broker’s license.
- Self-motivated and ambitious, with a contagious passion and hard-working desire to grow your career while attracting and encouraging associates eager to do the same.
- Technology proficiency, including knowledge of Microsoft Office, internet, and media sites.
