Assistant Branch Manager - Glen Cove
About the role
The Assistant Branch Manager contributes to the success of the branch through collaboration in overseeing the branch operations ensuring alignment to corporate strategies and objectives while demonstrating effective leadership.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage change in an agile environment, sound decision making, problem resolution, and crisis management.
- Model behaviors that create a work environment that ensures exceptional employee and member experiences.
- Effectively develop supervisors to lead teammates in delivering exceptional member experiences, foster long lasting relationships, use financial knowledge to offer thoughtful solutions to address member needs and process transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Maintain a Monday to Saturday availability.
Requirements
- College degree preferred or related work experience.
- 3+ years of financial or equivalent sales and service experience.
- 3-5 years of supervisory and leadership experience.
- 3-5 years of credit or lending experience.
- Medallion Signature Guarantor Certification within 3 months.
- National Mortgage Licensing System License within 3 months.
- NYS Notary License within 6 months.
- PC, Windows, and Internet proficiency.
- High emotional intelligence, decision-making, excellent communication, relationship building, change management, time management, supervisor employee and member experience skills.
Qualifications
- Knowledge of operational procedures and policies to assist with complex tasks and situations.
- Ability to de-escalate heightened member situations with emphasis on problem solving and service recovery.
- Ability to communicate with members to share knowledge and information.
- Ability to manage branch traffic flow with lobby management.
- Ability to collaborate with the supervisory team to create, implement, and manage strategies.
- Ability to participate in community events and business organizations.

Pay
The estimated salary for this role is $66,420 to $79,704 annually.
Schedule
Monday to Saturday availability required.
