Cold Storage Operator (Swing)

Responsibilities

• Keep the warehouse area in a safe, sanitary, and efficient working order.
• Inspect all product and trailers' pallets before loading, ensuring an accurate inventory database is maintained.
• Hand scan staged loads into the D365 system and complete the shipping checklist's staging portion.
• Staging loads in the warehouse's staging area.
• Inspect trailers for general cleanliness before loading; load trucks.
• Ship products in the ERP system and complete the shipping portion of the shipping checklist.
• Inspect and unload arriving loads of supplies or products.
• Receive products into the D365 system.

Requirements

• Good math and reading skills required.
• Able to work in -20 to +85 degree temperatures.
• Must have current forklift certification.

Qualifications

• A high school diploma or GED is required.
• 0-3 years of Food Production, manufacturing experience, or warehouse experience preferred.

Skills

• Ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with co-workers, supervisors, and with customers.
• Ability to communicate effectively.
