Responsibilities
- Teach medical students and housestaff.
- Participate in a series of formal conferences for the housestaff and students.
- Attend weekly Grand Rounds and lecture upon request.
- Participate in, and when appropriate lead, clinical research and clinical trials within the Division of Movement Disorders.
- Serve on departmental, School of Medicine, and/or University committees as necessary, as well as in a professional capacity in their field, such as reviewing, organizing conferences, etc.
- Provide primary clinical care in both inpatient and outpatient settings for patients with neurological disorders.
Requirements
- PhD or PsyD in clinical psychology/neuropsychology
- BC/BE in clinical neuropsychology through the American Board of Professional Psychology
- Completed a two-year post-doctoral fellowship in Neuropsychology
- Demonstrated ability to work in and foster an environment of respect, professionalism, and civility with a diverse population of faculty, staff, and students
Qualifications
- Experience in providing comprehensive patient-centered neurological care
- Ability to conduct and lead clinical research and clinical trials
- Strong teaching skills, including participation in formal conferences and lectures
- Professionalism and civility in working with a diverse group of faculty, staff, and students
Skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Knowledge of neuropsychological assessment and intervention techniques
- Experience with clinical research methodologies and data analysis
Pay
Salary range is commensurate with experience.
Schedule
The position is exempt and works 12 months per year.
