About the role
The Department of Neurology at VCU Health - Richmond, VA seeks a full-time Cognitive Behavioral Neurologist to join our expanding clinical and research enterprises in the Division of Movement Disorders.
Responsibilities
- Primary clinical responsibilities include care of patients in both inpatient and outpatient settings with an emphasis on movement disorders.
- Teach medical students and housestaff, organizing and developing formal conferences for the housestaff and students emphasizing issues in movement disorders.
- Participate in clinical research and clinical trials within the Division of Movement Disorders.
- Serve on departmental, School of Medicine, and/or University committees as necessary, as well as in a professional capacity in their field.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Neurology
- Completed an accredited Movement Disorders Fellowship
- Demonstrated experience working in and fostering an environment of respect, professionalism, and civility with a population of faculty, staff, and students from various backgrounds and experiences, or a commitment to do so as a faculty member at VCU
