COCKTAILS -Part time

About the Role

A cocktail server is responsible for walking the casino floor, taking beverage requests, and providing drinks to guests while maintaining exceptional service.

Responsibilities

• Provide prompt, pleasant, courteous, and efficient service.
• Utilize alcohol awareness training while acknowledging all guests with a friendly greeting.
• Anticipate guests’ needs and respond with urgency.
• Verify legal drinking age of guests.
• Complete side work duties and prepare the work area for the next shift.
• Deliver unique service while maintaining professionalism to encourage repeat visits.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Prior serving experience required.
• Must obtain and maintain an active Illinois Gaming License.
• Must have alcohol awareness training and certification.
• Ability to stand, walk, and be physically mobile during shifts.
• Must be able to move in small spaces and lift up to 40 pounds.
• Requires bending, stooping, pushing, kneeling, and reaching overhead.
• Excellent guest service and communication skills.
• Ability to handle money, make correct change, and use a POS system.
• Must work in environments with dust, noise, temperature variations, lighting, vibrations, crowds, and variable air quality.
• Must maintain a professional appearance and demeanor at all times.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English.
• Display high levels of confidentiality and integrity.
• Work well with others and handle stressful situations calmly.
• Possess effective learning skills.
• Ability to ascend/descend stairs and maintain equilibrium for extended periods.

Pay

$9.00 per hour + tips.
