Cocktail Server - Part Time
About the role
The Cocktail Server will work in various social venues and lounges at the Deloitte University Hotel & Conference Center, including a rooftop lounge, lobby lounge, high-volume sports bar with amazing BBQ, and an outdoor pavilion. This position is responsible for providing prompt, courteous service to guests, assisting with beverage knowledge, clearing plates, and maintaining cleanliness.
Responsibilities
- Interact with guests to take drink and food orders.
- Aid guests with beverage knowledge in making drink selections.
- Clear plates and glasses, clean tables, and maintain a clean workspace.
- Perform side work such as polishing silverware, rolling silver, cleaning side stations, vacuuming, and more.
- Enter orders on a point of sale system, present checks to guests, and take payment.
- Be familiar with all property amenities and other restaurants.
Requirements
- Friendly and outgoing personality.
- Likes to smile and talk to people.
- Restaurant, bar, or lounge serving experience preferred, but not required. Training provided.
- Liquor, beer, and wine knowledge desirable.
- Experience working on a F&B Point of Sale system desirable.
- Food Safety Certification and Texas Alcohol Beverage Certification required within 30 days of starting and must be re-certified as needed.
Qualifications

Pay
$20 per hour, no tips
Schedule
Status: Part Time
Availability: Sundays are required. Occasional Friday and Saturday preferred.
