Cocktail Server - Part Time

Responsibilities

• Foster a fun environment
• Be a gracious host to all guests and co-workers
• Promote a positive influence in the community and participate in company-sponsored events
• Provide personalized service and use guest names
• Resolve service problems according to guidelines
• Serve as an ambassador of goodwill while working and at customer and public relations functions; appear in publicity photos
• Promote gaming events and programs
• Offer fast (20 minute or less round time), friendly, professional beverage service to gaming guests; carry full trays on every round
• Maintain guest consumption of alcohol and intervene as needed according to guidelines
• Take drink orders, communicate with bartender, assist in the preparation of drinks, and present drinks to guests
• Handle money according to procedure
• Work well with others, especially beverage servers, bartenders, barbacks, beverage supervisors, and gaming supervisors
• Maintain a clean and stocked workstation

Requirements

• Must be 21 years of age
• Must enjoy hosting others
• Must have an outgoing, energetic, and enthusiastic attitude
• Must be comfortable initiating conversations and creating a fun environment with guests
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Read, write legibly, understand, and speak English
• Excellent customer service/communication skills
• Count money and change correctly
• Know or be able to learn tray service, cocktail ingredients
• Able to work required schedule which may include nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed
• Meet professional appearance standards as prescribed by company policy
• Physically mobile with reasonable accommodation
• Able to respond to visual and oral cues
• Able to lift and carry 20 lbs. (full cocktail tray) for extended periods of time
• Able to work at a fast pace in often crowded/noisy environment
• Able to perform job duties in varying work areas such as confined spaces
