Cocktail Server: Spirit and Bower Full Time

About the Role

The Server is responsible for providing the highest quality of service to guests in an attentive, courteous, and efficient manner. They receive and deliver guest orders and collect payment.

Perched on the falls of the iconic Reedy River in the heart of Downtown Greenville, our AAA Four Diamond boutique lodge offers guests an intimate way to experience the area's natural wonders. From stunning views to a curated art collection, Grand Bohemian Lodge enlivens the senses with floor-to-ceiling windows, earth-inspired details, and majestic accents. Guests can relax at the outdoor bar and restaurant, Between the Trees, overlooking the Reedy River, or enjoy the onsite spa, art gallery, fitness center, and hiking trails.

Responsibilities

• Provide attentive, courteous, and efficient service to guests.
• Effectively communicate verbally and in writing with employees and guests.
• Listen, understand, and clarify guest or employee concerns.
• Multitask and prioritize departmental functions to meet deadlines.
• Maintain a friendly, service-oriented demeanor in all interactions.
• Attend all required hotel meetings and trainings.
• Maintain regular attendance in compliance with hotel standards.
• Uphold high standards of personal appearance and grooming, including wearing the proper uniform and nametag.
• Comply with hotel standards and regulations to ensure safe and efficient operations.
• Identify problem areas and assist in implementing solutions to improve productivity.
• Anticipate, prevent, and resolve problems as necessary.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent; experience in a hotel or related field preferred.
• Ability to stand for entire shifts and maneuver throughout the dining area while carrying full trays of food and beverages.
• Medium work: Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally and/or 20 pounds frequently.
• Flexible availability, including long hours when required.
