Cocktail Server Full-Time

About the role

We are looking for a Cocktail Server to join our team at Hyatt Regency Columbus, located within walking distance of Nationwide Arena and the trendy Arena District. This role involves a fast-paced environment with constant customer interaction, cash handling, and teamwork in a modern hotel setting.

Responsibilities

• Submit and present guest beverage and cuisine selections
• Provide strong guest service with a focus on teamwork
• Recommend items from our menus and engage in casual conversation with guests
• Maintain a clean work area
• Demonstrate Hyatt’s values: empathy, integrity, respect, inclusion, experimentation, and wellbeing
• Handle cash transactions and communicate orders in a timely manner for both food and beverages
• Lift and carry 10–20 lbs

Requirements

• Previous bartending experience required
• Ability to stand for long periods and tolerate moderate amounts of walking
• Strong verbal communication skills
• Comfortable engaging in casual conversation with guests
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Team-oriented with a fun and energized personality
• Committed to delivering a high level of customer service
