Coater

About the role

Farwest Steel Corporation seeks a Coater to join their Reinforcing Department. The Coater will operate the reinforcing steel coating line machinery at maximum efficiency to apply fusion bonded epoxy powder.

Responsibilities

• Efficient set up, operation, monitoring, and general oversight of steel/rebar coating machinery.
• Enhance customer satisfaction by increasing product quality through validation of machine accuracy.
• Perform regular preventative maintenance of the equipment.
• Ensure a safe work environment through best practices, including promoting all safety policies and guidelines.
• Manage assigned paperwork in regards to process control and quality control.

Requirements

• One (1) year powder coating line experience.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work in a team environment.
• Customer service oriented.
