Coater Operator

About the role

Based out of Nashua, New Hampshire, Crane Currency is seeking a Machine Operator for their 2nd Shift team. This position plays a crucial role in creating security products that are vital to global economies.

Responsibilities

• Safely and effectively operate the slitter and all support processes to meet or exceed customer requirements and quality standards.
• Maintain efficient operation of equipment to maximize yields and uptime.
• Maintain a thorough understanding of all components of the slitter and spooling equipment, and troubleshoot problems when necessary.
• Follow standard operating procedures and guidelines for make-ready, troubleshooting, security, record keeping, and quality testing.
• Perform set changes in a timely fashion utilizing a team approach.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent experience.
• Industrial math skills.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and dexterity to perform basic repairs to the machinery.
• Ability to learn computer skills required to control the monitoring functions.
• Able to lift up to 25 lbs.
• Must be a United States Citizen with an ability to demonstrate suitability for a Position of Public Trust.

Preferred

• Previous manufacturing experience.
• Previous chemical handling experience.
