Coach, Volleyball

Join our team as a Volleyball Coach for our Fall Volleyball Skill Clinics! Coaches serve as instructors and customer service points of contact. Our program emphasizes fun, safety, and convenience while teaching the value of good sportsmanship.

Schedule

• Part-time, weekday skill clinics for 1st – 6th graders.
• Practices: Wednesday and Thursday evenings.
• Games: Sunday afternoons.

Responsibilities

• Teach and coach essential volleyball skills.
• Set up equipment for each clinic.
• Supervise children ages 7 to 13 years.

Requirements

• Experience working with children preferred.
• Experience as a coach, referee, or player is preferred but not mandatory.
• Knowledge of volleyball and its rules.
• Able to work a flexible schedule.
• Must have reliable transportation.

Physical Requirements

• Constant: Standing, walking, talking, hearing, and eye/hand/foot coordination.
• Frequent: Repetitive motions to demonstrate and execute skills; exposure to a loud gymnasium environment.
• Occasional: Lifting, carrying, pushing/pulling up to 25 lbs; stooping/crouching; sitting; climbing stairs/ladders throughout the building and on the court.
