Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Drama director to align with overall goals of the course
• Guide students through the creative process of creating a lighting, sound, set and costume design
• Mentor and support students in developing their artistic skills through working on a theatrical presentation
• Assist the school site's theater teacher by helping to maintain and perform minor repairs as needed to the theater's equipment
• Foster student creativity, discipline, and teamwork in a culturally responsive and inclusive environment

Requirements

• Experience with technical aspects of theater including but not limited to light, sound, set, fight coordination, intimacy training, and sound design
• Experience supervising volunteers, interns, or students is preferred
• Experience working with other theater personnel and outside clients
• Must complete the Edjoin online application and submit a resume and letters of recommendation/reference
• Selected candidates must pass fingerprint clearance and provide a current TB test result prior to employment
