Coach Operator INTERNAL APPLICANTS ONLY
Job Summary
The Riverside Transit Agency is recruiting for Full Time Coach Operator positions. Applicants must be available to work 7 days per week, including holidays and all shifts.
About the Role
Operate Agency transit and support vehicles in both revenue and non-revenue service; Maintain an established schedule along a designated route; Be available to operate Agency buses on pre-assigned shifts; Be responsible for the safety of passengers; Collect proper fares according to Agency tariffs; Give transit information; Collect patronage and revenue data as assigned; Prepare report forms; Report equipment defects or failures; And other related tasks as assigned. The position functions under the general supervision of the Director of Operations and/or the Assistant Operations Manager(s) and under the direct supervision of the Operations Supervisor(s).
Qualifications
- Current RTA Community Bus Operator
- Successfully completed the 120-day probationary period
- If not fully licensed, must obtain a Class B Permit/License with endorsements
Selection Procedures
- Applications and driving records will be evaluated
- Only qualified applicants meeting above requirements will be invited to participate in the selection process
- Position will be awarded based on seniority order
