About the role

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive volleyball program that fosters athletic excellence, teamwork, and sportsmanship among students at Independence High School.

Responsibilities

• Developing and executing a season-long volleyball training plan
• Leading team practices and games
• Mentoring student-athletes in academic and personal development
• Collaborating with other coaches and school staff to ensure a cohesive athletic program
• Managing team equipment and facilities

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Physical Education or related field
• Minimum of three years of coaching experience at the high school level
• Experience with volleyball coaching techniques and strategies
• Ability to work evenings and weekends as needed
