Application Engineering

MACOM's Application Engineering team is dedicated to solving technical problems for customers. The team works collaboratively to gather data in the lab, analyze information for customers, create technical presentations, update datasheets, post technical information online, and assemble information to support both customers and other MACOM teams.

• Training in lab measurement techniques for RF & Microwave devices, including the use of network analyzers, spectrum analyzers, power meters, and other instruments.
• Data processing using tools like Keysight ADS, Minitab, Python, MATLAB, and others.
• Helping with automated lab setups through the creation of Python automation scripts.
• Looking up information in the company’s documentation system to answer basic customer questions.
• Attending design reviews to gain insight into cross-functional engineering teams.
• Assisting with details related to customer meetings or requests.
