Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- Minimum of 1–2 years of professional work experience; experience in higher education, career services, human resources, or a related field preferred.
- Prior experience advising, coaching, teaching, or facilitating in one-on-one or group settings.
- Strong organizational, project management, and professional communication skills, with attention to detail and demonstrated problem-solving ability.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Teams) and Google Suite.
- Able to communicate and collaborate effectively across multiple departments and colleges.
- Comfort presenting to diverse audiences and demonstrated commitment to fostering a welcoming and inclusive environment.
- Experience with Microsoft or Google forms creation and process documentation.
- Ability to manage multiple operational priorities with attention to detail and discretion.
Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities
- Manage co-op program communications to COE students and employers, including announcements for recruitment deadlines, interview schedules, and events.
- Develop and maintain communication materials, SharePoint resources, student-facing resources, internal team documentation, and the co-op resource library.
- Support program operations including course planning via CourseLeaf, enrollment monitoring, and committee support.
- Cook up hire logistics for faculty and staff hiring committees, along with work-study student hiring and supervision.
- Aid with purchasing and budget management functions including reporting, reconciliation, and Concur expense processing, as part of broader operational duties.
- Support data tracking and reporting functions as assigned, including monitoring application activity and surfacing relevant findings to Co-op Faculty.
- Serve as a resource for COE students seeking co-op experiences, supporting them through resume reviews, job search strategy, and application preparation.
- Provide first-line program coverage in the absence of Co-op Faculty.
- Coach students pursuing self-developed co-ops outside of Northeastern’s database, guiding them through available platforms and supporting them through the vetting, approval, and registration process.
- Lead mock interview coordination and material preparation to support co-op courses.
- Facilitate ongoing outreach and check-ins with students during their co-op experience; escalate concerns to Co-op Faculty for follow-up and direct student engagement as appropriate.
- Provide supplementary global co-op support for students as needed, in coordination with Global Co-op Faculty.
- Coordinate logistics for employer engagement activities, including on-campus visits, company information sessions, and on-campus interviews, serving as a primary point of contact for scheduling, materials, and follow-through.
- Support employer recognition initiatives, including coordination of employer spotlights, outreach materials, and award or acknowledgment activities.
- Aid with the preparation and facilitation of co-op workshops, information sessions, and student-facing events throughout the co-op cycle.
- Serve as a liaison between the COE Co-op office and multiple departments across campus.
- Support college and university initiatives as assigned; contribute to committee work and assist with special projects.
- Participate in continuous improvement efforts for program workflows, processes, and student experience.
- Support additional college-specific functions or cross-college initiatives as directed by the university-wide co-op program.

- Compensation Grade/Pay Type 107S Expected Hiring Range $53,615.00 - $75,728.75 With the pay range(s) shown above, the starting salary will depend on several factors, which may include your education, experience, location, knowledge and expertise, and a pay comparison to similarly-situated employees already in the role.
