Position Summary
The Integrated Treatment for Co-Occurring Disorders team provides treatment services to individuals with mental illness and substance use disorders. Functions include attending daily team meetings, treatment planning meetings, and providing clinical services such as individual, group, couples, and family counseling/therapy, individual skills training, medication training, crisis intervention, linkage to community resources, advocacy, assessment, and treatment planning.
General Responsibilities
- Presents educational materials to promote community understanding of mental health and enhance community response to mental health problems.
- Participates in staffing of persons served to identify problems and establish goals and objectives for treatment.
- Contributes to staff development activities.
- Sensitive to management needs, such as data collection, program evaluation, development of grant applications, maintenance of contracts for services, etc.
- Attends all required meetings.
- Complies with corporate compliance and quality assurance procedures, cooperates with utilization review procedures, and follows established procedures, rules, and regulations of the clinical records department.
- Completes documentation in a timely manner and in accordance with agency, state, and federal regulations.
- Evaluates ITCDT services and expected outcomes on a continuing basis.
- Provides 24-hour crisis intervention on-call services on a rotating basis.
- Provides treatment contacts in the office and in the community.
Minimum Education, Training And Experience
- A licensed (or provisionally licensed) QMHP with one year of full-time experience in substance use treatment.
- If less than one year of experience in Integrated Treatment (IT), must be actively acquiring 24 hours of training in IT-specific content and receive supervision from experienced IT staff.

- CCDDP (Co-occurring Disorders Professional)
- CCDPP-D (Co-occurring Disorders Professional Diplomat)
- CCJP (Certified Criminal Justice Addictions Professional)
- CADC (Certified Alcohol Drug Counselor)
- CRADC (Certified Reciprocal Alcohol Drug Counselor)
- CRAADC (Certified Reciprocal Advanced Alcohol Drug Counselor)
- RSA-P (Registered Substance Abuse Professional - Provisional)
