Co-Head Grower (Propagation & Polytunnels) – Stroud Community Ag
About the role
We are hiring a Co-Head Grower to focus on plant propagation and leading polytunnel production. This role is part of a dynamic, collaborative team of growers at Stroud Community Agriculture (SCA), an organic and biodynamic community-supported agriculture farm (CSA) near Stroud, Gloucestershire. SCA feeds 300 households with vegetable shares and has been operating for over 20 years.
The full team includes three co-head growers (including this role), a seasonal grower, and a harvesting and membership coordinator. You will ensure our members receive a year-round share of delicious organic vegetables while collectively overseeing farm operations.
Responsibilities
- Lead plant propagation and polytunnel production.
- Collaborate with the team to oversee the running of the farm.
- Ensure high-quality organic vegetable production for 52 weeks of the year.
Requirements
- Passion for agroecological food systems.
- Experience in organic or biodynamic farming, particularly in propagation and polytunnel production.
- Commitment to collaborative teamwork.
