Co Adj Non-Teaching - NJTSS-ER Trainer/Coach

Overview

One of the most complex aspects of this regional coach position involves exercising professional judgment to identify and address gaps in instructional practice and/or system alignment while maintaining trust and collaboration with educators. The coach must independently assess practices and procedures, analyze student learning data, and determine appropriate next steps. Discretion is essential in determining how to approach coaching conversations in ways that promote educator reflection and growth while also aligning with NJTSS -ER priorities. Coaches must also navigate varying levels of district/school/educator readiness and school culture, tailoring strategies to meet individual educator needs while ensuring fidelity to research-based reading and writing practices. This requires balancing content expertise, pedagogical knowledge, and strong interpersonal skills to influence instructional change that ultimately improves student outcomes.
