About the role

Funded by a New Jersey Department of Education grant, Rutgers University is seeking a co-adjunct staff member to lead development specifications and the review process in the creation of online learning modules and training materials designed to support the implementation of research-based early reading instruction in elementary school classrooms.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the development of online learning modules and training materials
  • Review and approve materials to ensure they align with research-based early reading instruction
  • Collaborate with educators and researchers to refine and enhance the materials
  • Support the implementation of these materials in elementary school classrooms

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in education, instructional design, or related field
  • Experience in educational technology and/or early childhood education
  • Strong understanding of research-based early reading instruction
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
