About the role

The Rutgers Center for Adult Autism Services (RCAAS) Psychological Services Clinic (PSC) is seeking a part‑time therapist to join the team. The clinician will work with neurodivergent adults, providing individual psychotherapy and potentially group therapy. The majority of clients present with Autism, ADHD, and/or Learning Disorders (LD); some also have acquired neurological differences such as traumatic brain injury or stroke.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual psychotherapy (and potentially group therapy) to neurodivergent adults.
• Participate in PSC team activities, including didactic trainings led by clinical faculty.
• Receive individual supervision with licensed psychologist Dr. Cohen.
• Engage in group supervision with Dr. Cohen, doctoral graduate students, and postdoctoral fellows.

Qualifications

• Graduate degree in a field relevant to psychotherapy (e.g., LAC, LPC, LCSW, PsyD, or PhD).
• Licensure to practice psychotherapy in New Jersey, or eligibility and a clear path toward licensure.
