About the role
The CNC Setup Supervisor oversees the CNC setup department, coordinating with engineering and production teams to ensure efficient machine operation. The role involves training and mentoring new operators, monitoring safety standards, and continuously improving the CNC setup process.
Responsibilities
- Supervise the CNC setup department and ensure timely completion of all production requirements
- Cook with and coordinate with the engineering and production teams to ensure machines are running efficiently
- Train and mentor new CNC setup operators
- Maintain safety standards in the CNC setup department
- Optimize production efficiency through continuous improvement of the CNC setup process
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in CNC setup operations and supervision
- Mazak Experience Preferred
- Strong knowledge of CNC programming and machine operation
- Proficient in reading and interpreting technical drawings and blueprints
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet production deadlines
Qualifications
- Able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
- Able to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) through the entire shift
- Awareness of surroundings for safety concerns
- Frequent standing on feet for extended periods of time, occasion stooping and walking
Skills
- Strong knowledge of CNC programming and machine operation
- Proficient in reading and interpreting technical drawings and blueprints
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet production deadlines

Pay
Compensation is commensurate with experience.
Schedule
Work schedule is flexible but includes frequent standing on feet for extended periods of time, occasion stooping and walking.
