CNC Operator (Wood Table)

Essential Functions

• Selects and uses materials to avoid excessive scrap.
• Utilizes shop drawings, layout markings, etc., to operate machine using both prewritten programs and on-console edits and programs.
• Performs all set-ups for CNC.
• Affords assistance to engineering in part design and modification.
• Performs routine preventative maintenance procedures according to company procedure on machines, tooling and fixturing devices.
• Performs basic functions on the ERP computer system (clocking in and out, work order maintenance).
• Keeps work area neat and clean according to company standards.
• Works safely and follows all company rules and procedures.
• Provides back support in other departments as production requirements fluctuate.
