About the Role

As a Production Equipment Operator at Kreher Steel, you will be responsible for maintaining machined parts to required specifications and quality standards. You will also fill out production forms and quality control documents, perform routine inspections, assist in production startups and shutdowns, communicate with shift management, and follow production schedules.

Responsibilities

• Maintain machined parts to required specs and quality requirements
• Fill out production forms and quality control documents
• Perform routine inspections ensuring equipment is functioning safely, properly, and efficiently
• Assist in production startups and shutdowns
• Communicate directly with shift management identifying improvements as needed
• Follow production schedule and other related documents necessary to meet customer orders
• Comply with all HSE, QMS, and corporate policies at Tube Supply
• Perform other duties that may be assigned by management

Requirements

• Working knowledge of CNC machining operations, processes, programs and setups
• Manual machining experience preferred
• G-M code experience a plus
• Strong mechanical, mathematical, and communication skills
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a machine operator
• Experience using measuring tools such as calipers and micrometers

Pay & Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00/hr. - $24.00/hr. based on experience.
