CNC Operator I (Manual lathe/mill required)- 1st Shift

Responsibilities

• Set up of CNC Mills and Lathes for production runs
• Change tools, comp work and tool offsets.
• Deburr parts, saw/prep raw materials.
• Maintain on-time delivery for all jobs in production.
• Work with tight tolerances ±0.001 in high volume production scale.
• Proper use of power and manual tools, e.g. impact wrenches, drills, EZ Outs, hand tools.
• Understand and comply with all quality and safety rules, guidelines, policies and procedures.
• Must understand and support all Quality, Product Safety, and Health/Safety/Environmental/Energy policies.
• Must understand and adhere to all relevant statutory or regulatory compliance obligations.
• Must understand, support and adhere to the Integrated Management System policies, procedures and instructions.
• Must understand and support relevant key performance indicators (KPIs), as defined in the goal tree.

Skills

• Technical Capacity
• High proficiency in Math – trigonometry, decimals, conversions.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds with assistance.
• Knowledge of generally accepted best practices and theory.
• Good mechanical skills
• Knowledge of shop use of measuring devices.
• Basic knowledge of quantitative methods/statistical procedures
