About the role
CNC Maintenance Technicians play a critical role in ensuring the continuous operation of our 24/7 manufacturing facility. Responsible for the installation, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of a wide range of equipment, this role is essential to minimizing downtime and maintaining productivity.
Responsibilities
- Read work orders, specifications, blueprints, and schematics to determine maintenance tasks and troubleshoot equipment issues
- Performs moderate to advanced troubleshooting, repairs, and preventive maintenance on CNC machines, pumps, HVAC, cranes, forklifts, compressors, and other facility equipment
- Maintains accurate records in ERP and work order systems; manages parts and supply inventory as needed
- Keeps work areas clean and organized; returns tools and equipment to proper storage after use
- Fulfills safety policies and procedures; consistently utilizes all required personal protective equipment (PPE); attends and participates actively in safety training; may participate in safety committee
- Communicates verbally (English) and follows verbal and written instructions
- Performs other tasks and/or assignments as required
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Vocational training or apprenticeship in industrial maintenance
- Experience varies based on position level
- Valid Driver's license and acceptable safe driving record to meet insurance requirements
- Mechanical aptitude and basic knowledge of electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems and troubleshooting
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ERP or CMMS/Work Order system experience is preferred
- Strong multitasking, time management, and adaptability
Physical Demands and Work Environment
- Frequently walk, stand, sit for extended periods, bend, climb, kneel, and lift/push/pull up to 50 lbs
- Use hands and fingers to operate tools, install hardware, and work on computers or control systems
- Exposure to: Moderate to high noise levels (hearing protection may be required), dust, smoke, fumes, and vapors (PPE such as masks or respirators may be needed), extreme hot or cold temperatures (occasionally), sharp tools, cutting equipment, and hazardous machinery, powered systems, high-voltage equipment, and moving mechanical parts
