About the role
Maryland Masonic Homes is seeking a Maintenance Technician II to join the Building Management Department. This position reports to the Director of Building Management and is responsible for general maintenance of the entire facility.
Responsibilities
- Performs carpentry, electrical work, plumbing (including contact with drains, toilets, and sewer pipes), painting, and general repair work.
- Handles medical equipment that will be decontaminated before servicing.
- Performs heavy physical labor, including bending, stooping, climbing ladders, lifting and carrying heavy objects.
- Operates tools and equipment.
- Works in potentially hazardous conditions such as adverse weather, sewage, and electricity.
- May be exposed to biological hazards including infectious diseases and body fluids.
Requirements
- Valid driver’s license and a clean 3-year MVR.
- Resume required.
Qualifications
- Must be able to operate heavy machinery and equipment.
- Must be able to lift and carry heavy objects.
- Must be able to climb ladders and work at heights.

- Strong mechanical aptitude.
- Ability to work independently and follow safety protocols.
