A&K Railroad Materials Inc. is seeking a motivated CNC Machinist to join our team. With over 65 years in rail manufacturing, we're looking for someone who can hit the ground running and contribute immediately.

About the Role

This 100% onsite position requires a self-starter who can program, operate, and troubleshoot CNC machines. You'll read blueprints, interpret G-code, and work with manual tools to ensure precision manufacturing of railroad track materials.

Responsibilities

• Program CNC software, operate machines, and ensure quality production.
• Read and interpret blueprints, G-code, and work orders to execute precise machining.
• Troubleshoot equipment issues and adjust machine settings to optimize performance.
• Work in a heavy industrial environment, using manual tools and equipment as needed.

Requirements

• Prior experience in CNC machining and a background in industrial or manufacturing environments.
• Problem-solving skills, adaptability, and confidence in working independently.
• A High School Diploma or GED.
• Proficiency in measuring tools such as tape measures and calipers.
• The ability to understand technical instructions and remain flexible in a dynamic production setting.
