CNC Machinist - 5am to 3pm

We are seeking a skilled and motivated First Shift Operator for our CNC machines. As a key member of our manufacturing team, you will utilize your technical expertise to set up, program, and monitor complex machining processes, ensuring efficient production flow.

About the role

• 4-day work week (Monday–Thursday) with a 3-day weekend
• Annual reviews for wage increases
• Bonus system starting at 3% of your salary

Responsibilities

• Operate CNC machines with proficiency, ensuring accurate and efficient production of complex parts
• Conduct routine inspections using precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and other quality control tools to verify part dimensions against GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) standards
• Collaborate with team members on tooling setup, fixture adjustments, and process improvements to enhance productivity
• Follow safety protocols rigorously, including proper use of hand tools, safety guards, and factory safety procedures

Requirements

• Ability to commute to Greenfield, MA 01301 (required)
• Ability to work the shift schedule reliably
• Basic math skills necessary for calculating dimensions, tolerances, and machine settings; strong problem-solving skills are essential

Qualifications

• Proven experience operating CNC machines in a manufacturing or factory environment (preferred)
• Knowledge of blueprint reading, GD&T principles, and precision measurement instruments including calipers and micrometers (preferred)

Monday through Thursday, 5:00 AM – 3:00 PM
