CNC Machinist II-3rd shift (Edwards Vacuum)

About the role

Be part of an exciting journey as we prepare for production at our new facility in the Western New York Science & Technology Advanced Manufacturing Park (STAMP). Edwards Genesee location address: 6685 Crosby Rd Basom, NY 14013.

Responsibilities

• Independently operate HMC, mill-turn, grinder, and balancer machines with minimal supervision.
• Consistently follow all safety, quality, and SOP requirements.
• Identify and report process inefficiencies or equipment issues.
• Maintain a high standard of cleanliness and organization (6S) in assigned work areas.
• Provide feedback to engineers and team leads on recurring issues and potential improvements.
• Assist in mentoring and training Tier 1 machinists.
• Accurately interpret blueprints, perform in-process inspections, and make basic offsets or adjustments.

Requirements

• 4–8 years of CNC machining experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Proven ability to operate multiple machine types efficiently.
• Understanding of basic G-code and M-code commands.
• Strong teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Pay

Salary Range: $28.85 - $47.60 Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on several factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies, experience, and location.
