About the role
TBM Hardwoods is seeking an experienced CNC Machinist with strong expertise in tool grinding to support our custom millwork production. We are looking for someone comfortable working with Rondamat equipment who values precision, consistency, and maintaining tooling performance.
Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain Rondamat 1000 CNC tool grinder
- Operate Rondamat 960 manual grinder for precision sharpening
- Program and adjust CNC grinding parameters
- Inspect tools to tight tolerance standards
- Maintain detailed tooling performance records
- Partner with production leadership to ensure peak tool performance
- Maintain high safety and housekeeping standards
Requirements
- Extensive experience operating Rondamat 1000 CNC grinder or similar
- Strong experience with Rondamat 960 manual grinder or similar
- Deep understanding of tooling geometry and millwork applications
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
- High mechanical aptitude and precision mindset
- Ability to work independently and take ownership

Full time
Monday through Friday, 7:30am – 4:00pm

Pay
Hourly Pay: $30-$40 per hour, based on depth of expertise and machine experience
