CNC Machinist

Responsibilities

• Load fixtures, tools, and programs; perform offsets and probe cycles
• Swap tooling and fixtures between jobs with minimal downtime
• Read blueprints/CAD drawings and make appropriate G code adjustments
• Use micrometers, calipers, gauges, and CMM to ensure ±0.0005″ accuracy
• Determine the appropriate tooling, work holding, and machining process needed to produce a high-quality metal part
• Log setup sheets, inspection records, and machine maintenance
• Produce high quality products
• Maintain a safe work environment
• Participate in continuous improvement activities
• Support an environment of growth and enthusiasm with other associates

Requirements

• 5+ years’ experience
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
• Knowledge of tooling and machining techniques
• Understand and practice safe work
• Meticulous attention to detail
• Strong problem-solving and mechanical aptitude
• Ability to work independently and as part of a small team
