CNC Machinist

About the role

Nanotech Precision is seeking a CNC Machinist to join our team in St Michael, MN. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in CNC machining and be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Operate CNC machines to produce precision parts according to engineering drawings and specifications.
• Set up and adjust CNC machines to ensure optimal performance and accuracy.
• Monitor machine operations and make adjustments as necessary to maintain quality standards.
• Follow safety protocols and participate in regular safety training.
• Collaborate with other team members to resolve issues and improve processes.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience in CNC machining.
• Proficiency with various CNC machines such as mills and lathes.
• Strong understanding of CAD/CAM software.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints.
• Good mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Experience with lean manufacturing principles and Six Sigma preferred.
• Knowledge of metrology tools and techniques.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
