CNC Machinist

About the role

The CNC Machinist is responsible for designing, programming, and operating computer-controlled machine tools to manufacture parts and components.

Responsibilities

• Program and operate CNC machines to produce precise machined parts
• Read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints
• Use various measuring instruments to inspect workpieces for conformance to specifications
• Ensure adherence to quality standards and safety protocols
• Collaborate with other departments to resolve production issues

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum 2 years of related experience in CNC machining
• Proficiency in using CNC machines and associated software
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Qualifications

• Knowledge of metalworking processes and materials
• Experience with CAD/CAM software
• Understanding of ISO and ANSI standards
