About the role
The CNC Machinist is responsible for designing, programming, and operating computer-controlled machine tools to manufacture parts and components.
Responsibilities
- Program and operate CNC machines to produce precise machined parts
- Read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints
- Use various measuring instruments to inspect workpieces for conformance to specifications
- Ensure adherence to quality standards and safety protocols
- Collaborate with other departments to resolve production issues
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 2 years of related experience in CNC machining
- Proficiency in using CNC machines and associated software
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Qualifications
- Knowledge of metalworking processes and materials
- Experience with CAD/CAM software
- Understanding of ISO and ANSI standards
