CNC Machinist

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC and conventional machining equipment.
• Perform precision grinding and milling operations on aerospace components.
• Operate and troubleshoot multi-axis machining equipment, including: 5-axis grinding machines, 3-axis CNC milling machines, and multi-axis conventional machining equipment.
• Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and work instructions.
• Perform in-process inspections to ensure quality and dimensional accuracy.
• Maintain production and quality standards by making tooling and offset adjustments.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Maintenance, Tool Room, and Quality teams to improve manufacturing processes.
• Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in safety, quality, and efficiency.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.

Requirements

• High school diploma/GED.
• 2 years of related machining experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
• Strong experience with precision grinding and milling.
• CNC machining experience preferred.
• Experience with multi-axis machining, including 5-axis grinding and 3-axis milling.
• Ability to read blueprints and use precision measuring instruments.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Aerospace manufacturing experience is preferred.
• Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and a team-first mindset.

Pay

• Minimum starting salary: $25.00
• Shift premiums: 2nd shift: $2.00/hour, 3rd shift: $3.00/hour
• Sign-On Bonus: $3000 sign-on bonus available for external hires.

Schedule

• Shift differential for 2nd and 3rd shift.
