CNC Machinist - 3rd Shift

About the role
The CNC Machinist I contributes to the production of medical devices by operating and performing basic setups of CNC 2 and 3 Axis machines, with the ability to identify X, Y, Z, and 0 coordinates. You will run multiple and varying CNC machines simultaneously, such as Lathes, EDM Wire, and Plunge machines, in addition to operating manual machine tools to cut, drill, shape, and finish quality products with some supervision.
Responsibilities
- Perform basic machining functions to produce parts.
- Operate multiple machines simultaneously.
- Monitor machines to ensure proper program performance.
- Complete shop work orders, inspection documentation, and daily maintenance sheets.
- Make offsets and adjustments to machines with moderate supervision.
- Advocate for the health and safety of self, co-workers, customers, and the community.
- Support quality and compliance by adhering to all procedures, work instructions, and forms per the Quality Management Systems (QMS).
- Complete all required training.
Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent (Preferred).
- 1+ years of experience operating machining equipment in a manufacturing environment (Preferred).
- Lean Manufacturing experience (Preferred).
- Experience in Medical Device Manufacturing (Preferred).
- Machining Trade School certification (Preferred).

Pay
For positions located in California, pay for this job type falls within the following range and varies based on scope and complexity of job responsibilities: $17.26 - $23.00 per hour. As this position is assigned to the 3rd Shift, a 15% premium is added to the base hourly pay rate for all hours worked during that shift.
