Principle Duties And Responsibilities
- Set up and operate a wide range of machine tools to produce machined components and finished fittings.
- Work with various machine tools (lathe, mill, multi-spindle) and produce parts to specified tolerances and finishes.
- Edit programs via "dry-run" simulation and make necessary offset adjustments before first piece production.
- Read and interpret work orders to select appropriate work centers and identify required tooling and programs.
- Load and install proper tooling such as jaws, chucks, faceplates, arbors, centers, and cutting tools.
- Use various gauges and precision measurement instruments (CMM, calipers, micrometers, etc.) to inspect machined parts.
- Complete statistical process control reports and assist manufacturing engineering in process improvements.
- Return tooling and report any issues with tooling or materials.
- Read and understand basic manufacturing mechanical blueprints and possess sufficient shop math skills.
Requirements
- 3+ years of machining experience.
- Possess a technical degree or relevant certification from Mori Seiki, Hitachi Seiki, Okuma, Fanuc, or G&M Code.

Pay
- Starting at $28.00/hr-$34.00/hr, dependent on experience.
Schedule
- Works 3rd shift (11pm – 7am).
Shift Premiums
- Second shift premium: $2.50/hr.
- Third shift premium: $2.75/hr.
