CNC Control Tech- Austin Industrial (Phoenix, AZ)

Responsibilities

• Install, repair, and perform preventative maintenance on CNC machines and other material handling equipment.
• Perform electrical repairs, control logic, PLCs, VFDs, ladder logic, and component level repairs.
• Support other trades and contribute to team efforts as needed.
• Erect and escort vendors and subcontractors.

Requirements

• Experience with hand and power tools.
• A mechanical aptitude.
• Forklift experience helpful.
• Ability to pull orders from inventory, deliver production materials, and stage finished product for shipping.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or greater preferred.
• 5 years related machine tool experience required.

Skills

• Strong mechanical aptitude.
• Experience with hand and power tools.
• Knowledge of CNC machines, geometrical compensation, and correction.
• Experience with electrical repairs, control logic, PLCs, VFDs, ladder logic, and component level repairs.
