CNC Control Technician (Phoenix, AZ) - Austin Industrial
Responsibilities
- Install, repair, and perform preventative maintenance on machine tools such as CNC machines, sheet metal, gearboxes, ball screws, and gib adjustments.
- Perform electrical repairs, control logic, PLCs, VFDs, ladder logic, and component level repairs.
- Support other trades by contributing to team efforts.
- Erect and escort vendors and subcontractors.
Requirements
- Experience with hand and power tools.
- Strong mechanical aptitude.
- Forklift experience helpful.
- Experience with CNC machines and geometrical compensation and correction.
- Experience with mechanical repair, sheet metal, gearboxes, ball screws, and axis alignments.
- Experience with electrical repairs, control logic, PLCs, VFDs, ladder logic, and component level repairs.
Qualifications
- Associate’s degree or greater preferred.
- 5 years related machine tool experience required.
Skills
- Knowledge of CNC machines and their operation.
- Ability to perform electrical repairs and control logic.
- Experience with mechanical repair and sheet metal work.
- Understanding of PLCs, VFDs, ladder logic, and component level repairs.
