CNC Control Technician (Phoenix, AZ) - Austin Industrial

About the role

Must be able to perform repairs and preventative maintenance on various types of powered and non-powered material handling equipment. Work is performed both indoors and outdoors. Must maintain production and distribution of product by pulling orders from inventory, delivering production materials and supplies, and staging finished product for shipping.

Responsibilities

• Installation, repair, and preventative maintenance of machine tools on site, including CNC machines, geometrical compensation and correction, mechanical repair, sheet metal, gearboxes, ball screws, gib adjustments, and axis alignments.
• Electrical repairs, control logic, PLCs, VFDs, ladder logic, and component-level repairs.
• Support other trades as needed.
• Escort vendors and subcontractors.
• Work at a fast pace with safety as the top priority.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Associate’s degree or greater preferred.
• 5 years of related machine tool experience required.
• Forklift and aerial lift experience or ability to learn.
• Hand and power tool experience.
• Strong mechanical aptitude.
• Legally authorized to work for any employer in the United States; Austin is unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment visa for this position.

Schedule
