About the role
Parker Health Group, Inc. is seeking a full-time Certified Nurse’s Assistant (CNA) to join our team at Parker at Somerset, a 120-bed post-acute rehabilitation and nursing home in Somerset, New Jersey.
Responsibilities
- Assist residents with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and eating.
- Monitor and record vital signs as needed.
- Provide medication assistance and administer medications as directed.
- Assist with physical therapy and occupational therapy sessions.
- Participate in scheduled rounds and communicate resident needs to healthcare providers.
- Ensure cleanliness and organization of resident rooms and common areas.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
Requirements
- NJ Certified Nurse’s Assistant (CNA) certification in good standing required.
- High School graduate or GED required.
- Ability to deal with others in a diplomatic, tactful, and confidential manner.
- Ability to read, write, and be understood in the English language.
- Flu vaccine required during flu season.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year of experience as a CNA preferred.
- Experience working in a post-acute rehabilitation or nursing home setting is a plus.
Skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office.

Pay
The hourly rate for this position is $22.90 - $31.53 depending on experience.
Schedule
The schedule for this position is 11:00am - 6:00pm every other weekend.
