Registered Nurse - Somerset (Part time) #2192
About the role
The RN is responsible for providing nursing care to residents according to their individual needs, including medication supervision, health monitoring, assessing physical and mental capacity and developing individualized care plans.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and administer medications as per resident needs and physician orders
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of resident care in the electronic health record
- Assess and monitor residents' health status, including vital signs and mobility
- Develop and implement individualized care plans based on assessment findings
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care
- Provide emotional support and assist residents with daily activities as needed
Requirements
- Current, unencumbered license to practice as a RN in the State of NJ
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
- Minimum (1) year healthcare experience in long-term care and/or sub-acute care preferred
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred
- Valid Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification required
- Experience in nursing specialty of Geriatrics or Long-Term Care preferred
- Flu vaccine required during flu season

Pay
$46.00 - $61.77 per hour, depending on experience
Schedule
7:00am - 3:30pm every other weekend
