About the role
Parker is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team. This position offers 4 varied shifts monthly, including weekends.
Responsibilities
- Assist residents with daily living activities
- Monitor and record vital signs
- Provide medication assistance as directed
- Perform basic hygiene and grooming tasks
- Ensure cleanliness and safety of living spaces
- Participate in team meetings and training sessions
Requirements
- Certified Nurse’s Assistant (CNA) certification from the New Jersey Department of Health & Senior Services, in good standing
- High School graduate or GED required
- Ability to deal with others in a diplomatic, tactful and confidential manner
- Ability to read, write, and be understood in the English language
- Flu vaccine required during flu season
Qualifications
- Minimum of 6 months of recent CNA experience preferred
- Experience working in a healthcare setting
- Knowledge of infection control practices
- Basic computer skills
