About the role

The Patient Care Specialist supports patient care under the direction of a licensed nurse, performing clerical tasks, stocking supplies, and assisting with patient care as needed.

Responsibilities

• Supports patient care activities under the direction of a licensed nurse.
• Facilitates unit operations by performing clerical tasks, stocking supplies, and transporting items as required.
• Assists with specified patient care duties as directed.
• Demonstrates Service Excellence at all times.

Requirements

• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) License from the State of Florida.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Vocational/Technical School Diploma or Associate's degree preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Master’s degree preferred.
